Why Foot Care?

As we get older our feet not only show our chronological age but also represent the years of functional use we have put them through. Our feet get wider and longer with time. Sports, poor shoe wear, and medical and mobility issues make it difficult to reach or see our feet. It can become difficult to even cut our own toenails let alone get out to someone to cut them or pare our callous.

You Don’t Walk Well or Feel Well When Your Feet Hurt.

Long toenails catch in slippers causing them to break or tear off. Changes in how our feet feel can cause us to wear shoes that are too tight and rub sores. When is the last time someone looked at and examined your feet?

After over 40 years of being involved in the management of lower leg and foot issues as both a RN and a Nurse Practitioner, I have found that one of the things that is a key indicator of our health as we age is the condition of our lower legs and feet. Please allow me to help keep your feet and you healthy.
